We’re about three and a half weeks until the due date, and Abby is kicking and moving and stretching and reaching and punching and dancing like crazy. I just spent five minutes watching Maryalice’s stomach move around. It looks like one of our cats stuck under a blanket. This is one happy and frolicking baby.
In other pre-baby news, the nursery is about done. I’ve assembled the crib, toy box, armoir, pack ‘n play, swing, bookcase, and more. This weekend, I’ll attack the car seat, slider rocker, and a few other odds and ends.
Maryalice has been a champ this whole time, but she’s about over being pregnant. We’re totally ready to meet this kid.

So, like, where is the January “baby bump” picture? I mean we’re waiting here! It’s been a month hasn’t it?
And where are the pics of this mostly-assembled nursery? We ladies like to oooh and aaah over it all, don’t you know!
I’m with Hallie…where’s the pics of the “most-assembled nursery?” I want to see what my niece is going to be living in!! I know it will be beautiful, but the suspense is killing me.
Soon enough. We’re finishing it up. I put up the rest of the wallpaper border yesterday and assembled the rocker. The changing table is way late from J.C. Penney’s, so the room isn’t totally done yet. I’ll put a video or some pics up when it’s fully complete. Geesh.
