Phase 2 of Microsoft’s ad campaign hit the web today, moving away from the Seinfeld and Gates buddy sitcom segments. The reason I keep blogging about these spots is that I find it fascinating that Microsoft has allowed Apple to completely tear them down in advertising for years, and yet said nothing at all. Until now.
I love that Microsoft is stepping up to defend it’s brand, but so far, it isn’t apparent that they’re doing a good job of it. At least these new ads actually mention the product. And, there’s a distinct lack of churros.
